Backup Implementation

Data is your company’s most valuable intellectual property. As the quantity of data that your company keeps on its computers and/or servers grows, so does the potential for a catastrophic loss. Sooner or later every storage media will fail, but we can make sure that if you lose your data, you will not lose your business. From individual workstation backup to advanced multi-server farms that need backups, we have the solution. Today, no backup strategy is complete without off-site backup. We have plans that in addition to setting up remote hosting location in another state, include periodic testing of data to make sure that what you are backing up will really work in case of catastrophic hard drive failure or other disasters.

Structured wiring not only provides you with clean, easy access to your wiring backbone, but it provides a scalable infrastructure that anticipates and prepares for future technology developments. Whether you need to add a couple of data lines to already existing office, or you need us to design and install hundreds or even thousands of data and/or phone lines, we have the experience and know-how to make sure that your project goes smoothly, on time and on budget. We don’t consider the job finished until 100% testing has been completed, all cables are neatly tied and labeled, and the patch panels have been neatly patched in to switches. Our other divisions can provide you with seamless networking support, which sets us apart from most other cabling companies that may be specialists in cabling but leave the network support to others.

Email Setup/PDA Connectivity

Whether you need us to configure a simple @att.net or @earthlink.net email address in your MS Outlook or you need an email server setup on premises, we can help you stay in touch with the world. After understanding your needs we can advise you on which solution would be the most effective way for your company to keep employees connected. Some of the simpler solutions don’t require a monthly payment – such as Google Mail or Hotmail. For companies on a budget, we can set you up with Kerio Email Server. But if you find that your company is ready for the next step, we can set up the most complete email solution available: Microsoft’s Exchange 2007. As today’s road warriors spend more time outside the office, mobile devices play an important role in keeping everyone connected. With “Push Mail” technology, email messages are forwarded seamlessly to your PDA as soon as they arrive on the server.

Data Recovery

Whether a virus wiped out your hard drive or your computer is refusing to recognize your RAID array, we can help. We have developed proven methods to be able to restore data that has been deleted, reformatted, lost due to a malfunction of the hard drive, or lost during a natural (or unnatural) disaster. Something as common as a bad sector on a hard drive can keep your PowerPoint presentation that you labored over for days, from opening. We also work with attorneys in cases where forensic data recovery is needed. Whether it is one computer or dozens, we have the expertise and the manpower to be able to accommodate almost any request in a timely manner.

Windows Installation

Whether we custom-built your computer or you simply want a different version of Windows on your existing system, we can set you up with a Windows-operated computer. From Windows XP to Windows 8, we can install the operating system that will fit your needs and preferences. Don’t worry about your data leaving with your old operating system, either, because we can preserve and transfer all of your files onto your new desktop. Don’t settle for a system that isn’t perfect for you, let us install the best version of Windows for you.

Disaster Recovery

Disasters can take many shapes but one thing is usually true: its not a matter of if but a matter of when and usually that when happens at the worst possible time. Whether it is just a simple hard drive failure or something as devastating as a fire, by having a tested recovery plan, you can not only save time and money, but sometimes a business itself. Although there usually is not a one-solution-fits-all approach, our experience allows you to rely on tried and tested methods that have been customized to your needs. Whether it is a clustered environment for your servers, an offsite backup, or a simple RAID 1 solution, we can work with you and your budget to minimize the risks.

Complete Care Program

It has been our experience that a properly maintained computer will work indefinitely without major problems.  And if problems arise, usually it is possible to predict them in time to take countermeasures and assure continuous operation to minimize or eliminate loss of productivity due to a computer malfunction.  This becomes especially important with servers, where even 1 hour of downtime can mean hundreds or thousands of dollars worth of lost revenue.  It is therefore possible for us to “put our money where our mouth is” and guarantee that if you allow us to maintain each one of your computers for 1 hour per month and your servers for 2 hours per month, we will not bill you ANY additional time in case your computers or servers stop working*.  That means that you can set up a simple, relatively small budget for all your I.T. labor expenses based on the number of computers and servers that are in your organization. We’ll guarantee that you will not go over your budget no matter how many hours it takes us to fix whatever is wrong. We’ll also maintain the rest of your infrastructure such as printers, wireless routers, etc. at no additional cost.

  • Platinum Package: Fee based strictly on the number of units we maintain. If there are unforeseen repairs there are no additional labor charges.
  • Gold Package: Fee based on number of units but with lower maintenance co-efficient than Platinum Plan.  All maintenance and repairs are done, but when the upper limit of hours is reached its possible to accrue additional charges.  Usually the cost is 50% of the Platinum Package.
  • Silver Package: Fee based on set number of hours per month.  Significant discount is applied to the regularly hourly rates.  If any additional hours are required, they are also billed at the discounted rate.
